Words.
Without them, where would we be?
A
trained writer, journalist and editor, I help clients
who are at a loss for words. My work includes editing both customer and
consumer magazines, creating compelling copy for websites, drafting and
overseeing the execution of design and usability briefs, producing
technical manuals, researching and writing press packs, developing
project plans and producing high quality articles, marketing materials and case studies complete with words
and photographs on topics ranging from design to travel to technology.

As we race into a new decade, the month of January sees several of my new features out in print - email me if you'd like me to send PDFs. In SW magazine, I've interviewed the country's most accomplished hairdresser, Trevor Sorbie, and have written a feature on Nelsons, Europe's oldest manufacturer of natural healthcare. In Westside magazine you'll find my interview with chef Antony Worrall Thompson, while in The Guide magazine is my profile on entrepreneur Tom Mercer.
Two features I've written, one on Antonio Carluccio and another on London's Pearly Kings and Queens, appear in the current issue of the Covent Garden Journal. My story on how to minimise your eco impact as you surf is included in the latest edition of Surfgirl magazine, and my profile on designer Donna Wilson is found in the current issue of Knitting magazine.
Meanwhile Give Me One Good Raisin, my blog on upcycling, celebrates its first birthday this month. I've made 176 posts so far exploring the practice of applying redundant objects to new contexts.
